I stumbled across Kate’s page through Google. My husband and I knew we wanted a intimate ceremony for our elopement so we could be present and intentional with our attention, time, and space on that day. (We truly wanted to focus on each other without distractions)

I love how nature is a main player in her work and I knew immediately she was the only person I wanted to capture our love.

We felt comfortable around her, she has a genuinely relaxing presence. I wasn’t sure if it would be awkward to have another human we didn’t know along for the ride but spending time with Kate felt like meeting up with an old friend. A day or 2 after our ceremony she shared a video of small snippets of the day that and it was GORGEOUS. We watched it over and over as did our friends and family. I had been a little nervous about our photos because I had been crying happy tears all day so I wasn’t sure how my face would look. The video put all my nerves to rest. We received our sneak peek photos yesterday and just WOW!!! The overwhelming love and joy of the day showcased flawlessly in each shot-nothing felt posed or forced, even photos that we posed for. We highly recommend hiring Kate if you want to feel completely relaxed with your photographer on your day. You will have timeless and gorgeous photos that include natural beauty of the world and capture the love between you and your partner. Honestly even before she shared the video- our very 1st glimpse of our day through her eyes we were already talking about hiring her to capture milestone anniversaries ( years 1, 5, 10 ect.) She just made us feel *that good* I can’t say enough wonderful things about this human and her natural talent.

Whether you are as clueless about the wedding process as we were or have all the details figured out, Kate is the best vendor choice you can make. From start to finish, Kate was communicative, patient, and so fun. She went above and beyond to help us through the planning, and moreover she delivered pictures that literally make us beam remembering the day. She perfectly captured the warmth and joy we felt. She also managed to capture sweet moments with our insane dogs and even some cool/creative night shots. We never felt like taking the pictures was the focus of the day, she just seamlessly worked into our event and felt like another great friend in the midst of all the love. We’re so grateful for her hard work and talent!! BOOK KATE!!!

Working with Kate is like working with your incredibly talented best friend! Kate embodies such a joyous and energetic energy during your wedding day. Kate took the time to meet with us multiple times prior to the day to get to know us. We did some non traditional things such as have a beer boy rather than a flower girl and ring bearer and stop on the way to the wedding to take adventurous photos (which are some of my favorites) and she was the biggest cheerleader on the creativity. She encourages you to have your day be what YOU want it to be, not what society says you should do. I can’t say enough about fun she was to work with and how thankful I was that she was there that day! If she is available, book immediately! She is a true Vermont and New England gem!

When looking for a photographer, our highest priority was finding someone who we could easily be ourselves around. We immediately vibed with Kate upon our initial interview. Over the months leading up to the wedding we had regular correspondence and helped build our relationship. Kate even invited us to go snowboarding with her one day so that we could connect and get to know each other even more. When Kate arrived at the venue on our wedding day, we felt like we had known her for years. Kate’s attention to detail and communication assured us that we had a game plan for all the photos we wanted and it really helped put our minds at ease that we had a true professional with tons of experience.

Kate has a great understanding of what’s important about a wedding day: that you actually enjoy it. All of her focus during the planning centered around making sure our photo sessions on the wedding day didn’t take away from our time/experience at our reception. She was very understanding of our timeline and was able to carve out times for us to step away and take photos together, with our wedding parties, and family. We never felt like we were missing out on anything while we were taking photos during the reception. Kate works extremely efficiently, and her positive personality made it super fun to shoot with her. Honestly, we had FUN taking photos with her! She’s incredibly down to earth and easy to get along with. We got along so well and she was able to capture perfectly just how happy we were on our wedding day.

Kate is the easiest decision we made for wedding vendors! As someone that is quite organized, I cannot tell you how much I really appreciated that Kate was so on top of her game in the midst of all the wedding planning and decisions to be made! It is 100% worth it going with Kate and she is also a dog lover, fun, adventurous, and open to any thoughts! We had Kate photograph our Vermont elopement as well as a wedding celebration with family and friends in Colorado and everyone loves Kate! She is easy to get along with, super accommodating, and very timely and professional.

Kate is the BEST. She is simultaneously very professional and very fun, bringing happy, creative energy to all situations while remaining organized, calm and on top of everything. Kate photographed our small wedding at my parents’ house and our weekend celebration at a traditional wedding venue and she was amazing every step of the way. I can truly say that having Kate as our photographer took stress away off our plates both in preparation and during our events – she reminded us to enjoy the moment, added fun photo opps and captured everything beautifully.

I don’t think I’ll ever find the right words to describe how much my fiancée and I LOVE Kate! I knew from the first call with her she was someone truly special and we already were grateful to have her be a part of our wedding adventure! She is professional, organized, punctual and incredibly talented. I think sometimes being in front of the camera (especially if it’s something neither one of you has ever done haha) can be intimidating. But working with Kate we felt so comfortable like we had known her forever! She truly made our engagement shoot a special day. Before our shoot we talked about all our favorite things we do in Vermont and she fit them all in including packing an amazing picnic! It was a day we both needed after a crazy few months too and we cannot thank her enough! Also she shredded the mountain bike trails with us and it was so fun! GAHH I could say so much more she’s just absolutely the BEST OF THE BEST! KATE if you read this you are a superwoman and we adore you!!!!!

All I can say is that Kate is the absolute best! From our first call with Kate my (now) husband and I knew that she was the one for us! We spoke with Kate for 45 minutes, hung up and immediately booked her. And from that time forward it was a pleasure working with her. Kate is super organized, kind, feels like a friend (so ideal when taking photos), and is an amazing photographer. I cannot wait to receive the rest of our photos and to work with Kate in the future!

KATE IS THE BEST! Not only did Kate meet in-person with my husband and I before our wedding date, but she sent out multiple helpful questionnaires! Day-of, Kate was truly a dream! She was organized, fun, and creative. One of my husband’s hobbies is photography, and he absolutely loved our wedding pictures. Kate doesn’t just deliver excellent photos, but she creates an atmosphere of love and adventure when she takes your picture! I would 10/10 recommend her to any friend, family member, or stranger!

Having Kate as our photographer for our wedding day (& engagement session!) was one of our best wedding planning decisions easily. She is not only incredibly organized, professional, and great at what she does; she is also so kind, bubbly, captures the best moments, makes you feel comfortable, and is definitely up for adventure! As someone who doesn’t love being photographed, I was nervous about the experience of taking engagement and wedding photos – but it was SO fun with Kate. She made me feel at ease! She got all of the requested shots and so many more I could never have thought to ask for, really precious moments that I can now look back on & yet nothing felt rushed or forced. The most difficult part of this experience was picking which photos to print to hang in our home – there were so many wonderful options to choose from! I truly could go on forever about what an incredible experience this was, but I can say for certain your wedding memories are in great hands with Kate!
