Moriah of MoHo Photo is the wedding photographer for fun-loving, adventurous couples. She focuses on making lots of space for the candid moments to happen and be captured as they are, as well as help couples take time for gorgeous portraits.
In Their Own Words:
Hey there, I’m Mo! I started MoHo Photo as a way to get to know fun-loving, adventurous couples and be a part of their awesome moments. Weddings and elopements in Vermont have been a dear love of mine ever since I photographed my sister’s wedding as a gift (while being her maid of honor; true multitasking powers here!), and I’ve never looked back.
I focus on making space for the candid moments to happen and be captured as they are, as well as help you make time for taking some gorgeous golden hour portraits. I have found over and over again that taking a moment to step away from the excitement of the wedding, allowing couples to reflect on their day, makes for some powerful images.
For every image I take, my goal is to bring you back to the exact moments they happened, because that is what truly makes them meaningful.
Oh, and above all else, I want to make it fun. I’ll literally be the best third wheel you’ll ever willingly sign up for.
Favorite Moment During a Wedding: I love the quiet in-between moments, when no one is really watching and the couple is totally immersed in what’s happening around and between them. Those moments I photograph are always the most powerful images from a wedding day.
Favorite Vermont Activity: I’m totally spoiled by the beer scene in Vermont. I love spending a lazy weekend exploring local towns and finding new breweries and food spots. My current favorites are Four Quarters in Winooski and Hill Farmstead in Greensboro. If you book me for a session down by the waterfront in Burlington there’s a good chance we’ll be stopping at Foam during the session.
Dance Floor Request: Anything by Taylor Swift, but I’m a huge sucker for live bands and anything they play with high energy.

We can’t recommend Mo enough! During the engagement photos she made us feel so comfortable. She was great with our dog, and so creative and flexible throughout coming up with new ideas! During the wedding planning process she was always available for questions or to check in. When the wedding day came, she made sure that we had all of the pictures we wanted and she worked so well with all of our vendors. Her pictures are just stunning! For two people who don’t like getting their picture taken, Mo might have changed our minds! She was the perfect amount of professional, creative and funny. Working with Moriah is just like spending time with family…because she is for us! Going through this experience with someone we trust, who is also such an incredible artist, was so above and beyond our expectations.
Moriah captured every moment of our wedding day exactly the way I remember it. She gave us the gift of seeing every smiling face, every laugh (and tear!) and I was finally able to see my husband’s reaction to my entrance because I was too nervous to look in that moment.
This photographer has such a way of getting you to relax. I am naturally nervous in front of a camera, but Moriah’s prompts got us acting like ourselves in no time. Working with her for our engagement session really made us comfortable before the big day and gave us an idea of what we could expect. What I love in particular about Moriah’s style is all the candid shots. Her photos are not only flattering, but really carry emotion.
