Built in 1792, Weatherhead Hollow is a lovingly restored property with a unique combination of modern comforts and historic charm, and located just 10 minutes from the picturesque town of Brattleboro, Vermont.

Exchange vows under an ancient maple tree, enjoy cocktails in the barnyard, and dine and dance the night away under soaring barn ceilings and twinkling lights!

We’re here to help you celebrate, unwind, and create unforgettable memories. Our historic Southern Vermont Farmstead features two country cottages that sleep up to 8, a former Blacksmith Shop and Carriage Barn, and a 10,000 square foot Barn event space surrounded by rolling fields and mountain views of the hollow — all for you to enjoy over a four day weekend.

This isn’t a typical corporate event venue. When not hosting events or weddings, Weatherhead Hollow supports the creative economy in Vermont through fully funded artist residencies. Similar to how we support artists and their creativity, as an event venue, we offer an unhurried environment where you will have the freedom to craft your ideal event and itinerary.

Favorite Moment During a Wedding: That magic moment after the ceremony wraps – when we celebrate the union and guests gather to pick up drinks or appetizers and start to meet each other. It’s an electric buzz of two communities coming together in a big way to party for the very first time. There is so much love and excitement for the future in the air from so many people – nothing compares!

Favorite Vermont Activity: Pressing cider from the apple trees on our farmstead while eating delicious local cheeses!
