Your mile long drive on the country road that leads to the home gives entry into another world entirely, from the gated entry, on past Hildene Farm’s Goat Dairy and open meadows, and through the cross-roads of Hildene’s 12 mile trail system. Once alit, your guests will be in awe of unparalleled views of Equinox Mountain and the Taconic Range.  

Passing through the mansion and out into the historic formal gardens, the view expands to include Vermont’s Green Mountains, with a stunning overlook with the famed Battenkill River Valley below.  

After a breathtaking ceremony at the overlook and elegant cocktail hour in the formal garden, guests gather for a celebratory dinner featuring award winning foods of Pangaea, whose ingredients are farm to table Hildene.  The glow of the mansion on its majestic promontory, the sunset over the mountains, and the drifting evening lullaby from nature’s vignettes, give rise to joyous reception.
