Hannah and Tom planned an incredible car camping elopement wedding in Stowe, VT. Vermont wedding photographer Madison Anne Studio was thrilled when these two asked her to capture their big day. The couple noted that they had three must haves on their list: their dog, camping, and skiing.
Stowe, Vermont Winter Elopement
This elopement was all planned within about a month. Hannah and Tom wanted to elope with just a few friends and family, so they planned an elopement getaway to the Trapp Family Lodge. This beautiful Austrian-Inspired lodging was the perfect place for a small outdoor ceremony. With the sun shining, mountain views and their dog by their side, it was absolutely beautiful and heartwarming, even despite the chilly temperatures!
The couple spent some time celebrating with their family and friends taking portraits and enjoying some wedding cake before heading out to car camp.
Chilly Car Camping Elopement
Hannah and Tom wanted to take full advantage of the mountains, so they drove up to Spruce Peak. It just happened to be the coldest day at —14° on the mountain, but these two adventurers didn’t care a bit!
They took some incredible car camping elopement photos complete with a gorgeous sunset and fire. Hannah wanted a sweeping veil shot, and Madison not only nailed the shot, but lent Hannah her own veil to use for it!
