Summer Wedding at the Kimpton Taconic Hotel

Childhood sweethearts, Becky and John, finally had their big day at the Kimpton Taconic Hotel in Manchester, VT. The photographer, Idena Beach, shared that she absolutely adored capturing this couple. This wedding can only be described as pure bliss and big smiles.

An Emotional Day

Becky and John had been dating since middle school, so to say that they know each other well is an understatement! Case in point? Their pre-ceremony gift exchange. Becky bought a particular perfume that John likes so she could surprise him by wearing that scent…and John ended up buying her the same perfume as a gift! It was a fun little moment where everyone was laughing at how well they know each other.

John also included an old sports t shirt of his for her to sleep in. Becky is a huge PJ lover! When asked what her best guess is when it comes to his gift to her she said, “Pajamas. I love Pajamas!” There was a note taped to it as well. It was a small, funny little moment, but there was not a dry eye in the room because the couple’s love was so apparent.

Before putting on her dress, Becky saw John and his groomsmen outside taking photos on the street in front of the hotel. Idena remembered how she captured Becky’s happy tears and excitement over the nearness of their ceremony!

A Kimpton Taconic Hotel Wedding

The Kimpton Taconic Hotel is the perfect place for an elegant wedding. Becky and John’s wedding party got ready at the hotel and took pictures around the property before preparing for the ceremony. The beautiful garden was an elegant setting for their outdoor ceremony. (John’s face says it all as Becky walked down the aisle with her dad. The ceremony was beautiful, memorable, and full of laughter.)

Everyone enjoyed cocktail hour out on the terrace before heading into the ballroom for the reception. Becky and John’s family and friends enjoyed speeches, dinner, and dancing the night away together.
